Sauve is one of our favorite villages - lovely to walk the streets and discover its galleries. Le Bistro de la Tour is a great spot to have a cosy lunch or diner - nice homemade tapas! - and thanks to Julien's Sommelier background a real treat for wines! over 20 wines every day can be tasted by the glass - wine lovers will be thrilled!
Only 7 minutes drive from our house is a real treat for Gourmets. Very much deserved, Yoan and his team have been granted 2020 a BIB Gourmand by Guide Michelin. The price is more than fair (33€ for L'Artysan menu), the staff is great and the place elegant in its simplicity
LE PIC SAINT LOUP
A beautiful garden, a very young and dynamic team who created a restaurant arranged with great taste and lightness. Their concept is "from the farm straight to the plate". You will love it.... We are fans of their weekend Menu, more than the weekly barbecue concept
AUBERGE DE VALESTALIERE
An old school perched on a hill, with a breathtaking view of the Cévennes. A beautiful garden for lunch or dinner. You will enjoy delicious modern French cuisine and enjoy impeccable service. Really to be discovered.
A delicious address in Sommières: delicate food, a very nice selection of wines and a beautiful dining room - inside or in the patio!
SOUS LE CHÊNE
A very nice place to spend a peaceful meal. There is no indoor restaurant, everything happens in the garden, under a big oak. A small menu with 3 starters and 3 main courses, using only products from the region, the cooking is made with love….
LE MAS DU JOEP
Our nicest discovery in 2020 - 50mn drive If you are looking to spend a moment of utter simplicity close to the see, this is the place. Just sit down, look at the beautiful Etang de Thau and its fishing boats, with a chilled bottle of white wine and enjoy the freshest seafood ever: pulled out of the water upon your ordering it!
Life can be so simple and beautiful...
Palavas Beach, 55 minutes drive.
For those who want a drastic change of scenary and look for beach feeling, Bonaventure is the best place to go: great setting in bohemian beach style, nice & relaxed staff and amazing arabic-french fusion food. You will come back to Brouzet and wonder how quickly you can switch worlds!
It's not a restaurant as such.... But something you can not miss! Sommières market on a Saturday morning - On the central market square, under the arcades, you will find a place to sit down with large tables and benches: if you are lucky to find a free spot, you will be able to enjoy a glass of white wine and oysters ordered at the adjacent stand. You are most welcome to eat any other delicacies purchased from the market: cheese, bread, etc. - a real delight!
YOUR PRIVATE CHEF
If you fancy not to leave La Magnanerie de Brouzet, but still wish to be pampered and skip cooking, then Morgane is the perfect answer: she will come to La Magnanerie and cook for you a delicious 3-course menu. Do not worry about anything: she will do the shopping, cook, serve and leave a tidy kitchen.
